Through conference calls between senior leadership within the UP and the BLET General Committees, it is essential for all members to understand the following:
We are to be moved at all times complying with the 1 cab – 1 crew procedure, without exception!
All instances of non- compliance or attempted non-compliance with this policy mandates the crew should refuse to ride. You should immediately report it to your direct supervisor and then to either myself, your local union officer or both. I hope this clarifies this particular part of our attempts to keep all of our members safe, healthy and compliant with CDC / IDPH recommendations during this COVID 19 pandemic.
